Job Description

THE POSITION:

The VP, IT is the head of MDM, data governance, and data warehousing, driving the strategy and implementation forward. Working closely with our cross functional Data and Digital Products teams, you will be accountable and responsible for the master and reference data used by business units across the enterprise. You will use your experience to establish and maintain policies and procedures for how master data will be processed and managed both from a technical and data governance perspective. You will collaborate with talented technical leaders to build, automate, and maintain master data across business units.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

  • Lead the MDM and Data Warehouse teams
  • Lead the data organization to provide the data platform for our product teams to consume
  • Lead the development and use of new tools and upgrades to existing ones.
  • Build relationships and manage demand with executives
  • Provide expertise and guidance on health data management through standard operating practices and data models for collection, harmonization, normalization, transformation, integration, and utilization
  • Product Management for platforms and data services
  • Ensure data governance and security
  • Develop and implement scalable, flexible master data management architecture that supports, leverages, and manages ELSS data as a core asset to build products and solutions
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders in the consolidation and prioritization of requirements
  • Define organization and roles to support data operations and quality management
  • Drive strategy and implementation across the enterprise to ensure compliance to policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Develop standards, templates, and principles
  • Develop roadmap to enhance capabilities along the master data management maturity model
  • Vendor selection and management
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Responsible for and oversee MDM and Data Governance Activities and Frameworks.
  • Interview, select and supervise the activities of the staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.
  • Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives discussion appraisal with each employee and performance; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline, and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • BS in Computer Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field
  • 15+ years architecting solutions in MuleSoft or similar enterprise integration platform
  • 20 years software architecture experience
  • Strong prior IT background as a developer, technical analyst and or administrator
  • Experience in data platforms, data warehouse, and advanced ETL knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging technology to deliver information technology solutions
  • Broad experience in various types of business applications (i.e. health care, finance, order management, retail)
  • Strong understanding of agile and waterfall project delivery methods
  • Familiarity with AI and future data architectures
  • Leadership, Collaboration, and Communication
  • Agility and Adaptability

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field
  • Health care (provider, pharmaceutical, and/or health plan) experience strongly preferred
  • Basic understanding of TOGAF
  • Senior architecture experience
  • Business architecture experience
  • Cloud solutions experience

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees.The anticipated base salary range for this position is $172,000 to $232,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
